Daily driving this thing for 5 months now, with a 60km daily commute for a new posting at work . The noise gets a bit old on the highway but this thing is just so fun at low speeds. Coming into our summer now too which I'm looking forward to (bought the car at the start of our winter essentially)

So far I’ve gone back to stock springs, stock exhaust and stock endlinks. Removed spacers. I can’t stand rubbing and suspension noises.

Also g reased the swaybar bushings , changed diff/brake/gearbox fluids and generally cleaned it up.

Still undecided about the garage vary taillight covers though and need to do a proper paint correction

every time I drive one of these it reminds me of the C3 Corvette, down to the fender arches view from the drivers seat . ..except it feels miniature and capable. Dunno I could daily one, but it is absolutely the most raw driving experience you can have in a modern major market automobile.

Living the dream. The noise was the big downside for me. After 11 years in a Mazda, I was ready for something quieter and softer for the daily ride. But I could still see me in an alternate timeline driving one of these to work and everywhere else.

I’d keep it stock, because it’s sweet that way, and Mazda made it wonderful without me spending extra money.

I was the other way around, took a year of driving an auto Accord Euro (TSX) to bring me back to a zippy manual car. the highway is just about bearable, and actually a bit better with the top-down

never though about the C3 resemblance.

You’re right, the only two more raw cars are the Lotus Elise and Alfa 4C currently

Me too in a convertible. With the top down, it at least feels adventurous.
